This policy explains what personal information Devscape Digital collects through this website, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.
Who we are
Devscape Digital is a software development company providing AI automation, business applications, MVPs, mobile applications and website development services. For any privacy question, contact us at contact@devscapedigital.com.
What we collect
We keep data collection deliberately minimal. Depending on how you use the site:
- Information you give us. If you book a call, you provide your name, email address and any details you choose to share about your project. Scheduling is handled by Calendly, and the information you enter there is processed under Calendly's own privacy policy.
- Usage data. Standard analytics about how pages are used — pages viewed, approximate region, device and browser type, and referring site.
- Technical data. Server and CDN logs, including IP address, kept for security and reliability purposes.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not run advertising trackers on this site.
Why we use it
- To respond to enquiries and arrange discovery calls.
- To provide services under a signed agreement.
- To understand which pages are useful and improve the site.
- To keep the site secure and available.
Legal basis
Where the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, we rely on your consent (when you contact us), performance of a contract (when we work together), and our legitimate interest in operating and securing this website.
Who we share it with
We share data only with the service providers needed to run this site. Each processes data on our behalf under its own terms:
- Netlify — hosting and content delivery, including server logs.
- Calendly — scheduling, when you book a discovery call.
- Google Analytics — page usage measurement, and only once you have accepted analytics cookies.
We do not share your information with anyone else.
How long we keep it
Enquiry correspondence is retained for as long as needed to respond and, where a project follows, for the duration of that engagement plus any period required for legal, tax or accounting purposes. Analytics data is retained according to our analytics provider's default retention window.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or request a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email contact@devscapedigital.com and we will respond within the period required by applicable law.
Cookies and your choice
Analytics cookies are switched off by default. When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept them, and Google Analytics is only activated if you choose "Accept". If you decline, no analytics data is collected.
Your choice is stored locally in your browser so you are not asked again. To change it, clear this site's data in your browser settings and the banner will reappear. You can also block or delete cookies entirely — the site works without them.
